Situated in the Mselliet Valley, between Mosta and Zebbiegh, San Anton School can boast of some of the best scenery around any school in Malta. It is one of the few co-ed schools in Malta, and we can say that it was one of the first to break into the old system of separate schooling for boys and girls in Malta, still in use for state and church schooling till today.
Our school is divided into three different sectors, each with its own Head, although under one principal, Mr. Louis Pisani. Early School consists of Pre Grade Classes (3 - 4 years old), and classes from Grade 1 to Grade 3 (4 - 7 years old). Grades 4 to 7 (7 - 11 years old) are found in Middle School, while Senior School accomodates Grades 8 to 12 (11 to 16 years old). There are roughly 1000 students in the whole school.

A little bit of HISTORY
In the middle of the 1980's, a number of parents whose children already attended other schools felt the need for something new in the Maltese educational system. The idea was to have a school founded and funded by the parents themselves, where students, parents, staff and all those involved could work together for the benefit of the students.
With this idea in mind, San Anton School was founded in 1988, with just four classes, and the first school was in Attard, exactly at Villa San Anton, 21, St. Anthony Street, Attard (no wonder our name!!)
In October, 1990, the school moved to its new premises in L-Imselliet, l/o Zebbiegh, Mgarr. Now the classes amounted to 13, with the Early and Middle School already functioning.
Scholastic Year 1992-1993 saw the first students reaching Senior School, and in 1995, the school was enlarged to its present state to accomodate all the 1000 students at the school.
